11:48jyaUsing https://mozilla-releng.net/trychooser/ to create my try run, attempting to build for only the android platforms, yield "Exception: Unknown platform(s) [android-api-15-frontend,android-api-15-gradle-dependencies] specified for try"
11:48jyais this a known issue?
13:26rwoodaselagea|buildduty: ping
13:26aselagea|builddutyrwood: pong
13:27rwoodaselagea|buildduty: hey, I have a buildbot configs patch that needs to be merged to production, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1378451#c26
13:27firebotBug 1378451 ASSIGNED, rwood@mozilla.com Taskcluster/buildbot configs for new talos perf-reftest-singletons suite
13:27rwoodthis is the patch:
13:27rwoodhttps://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1378451#c13
13:27rwoodif you have some time to do that, that'd be awesome
13:28aselagea|builddutyrwood: okay, I'll merge it to production
13:28rwoodaselagea|buildduty: thanks :)
13:28aselagea|builddutyrwood: your patch will reach the buildbot masters at the hour
13:28aselagea|builddutyso ~30 minutes :)
13:29rwoodsweet! :) thanks again
13:29aselagea|builddutyyw
13:41travis-cibuild-buildbot-configs#2735 (production - 3705b7b : Alin Selagea): The build passed. (https://travis-ci.org/mozilla-releng/build-buildbot-configs/builds/253212690)
15:42jmahersomehow we are running buildbot talos non-e10s tests as of this morning, I assume a reconfig took place
15:42jlorenzojmaher: hi! following on the tc-migration meeting, would you know whether there's a way to list the type of tests that require signed builds?
15:42jmaherjlorenzo: xpcshell require it
15:42jlorenzoas far as I know, xpcshell fits in that category
15:43jlorenzojmaher: hehe, are you aware of another type of tests?
15:43jmaherjlorenzo: and specifically https://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/search?q=path%3A*.ini+!updater&redirect=true
15:44jmaherwe identified the updater as the one tool/binary that needs to be signed and thought we would be with MOZ_UPDATER=0 or something like that (maybe it is --disable-update) and then we could run all the tests but a few
15:45Callekjmaher: the long-story-short for jlorenzo's question (incase you're not up to speed)
15:45jmaheroh...me listens
15:46Callekjmaher: we're going full-steam on getting win32 and win64 to tier 1, including nightlies, any and all testing not yet in TC will be triggered via BBB, which means that any testing that needs signing will be triggered from the dep/ci-signing task
15:47Callekso we're confirming which tests do need signing, (if only xpcshell, then sure, but wasn't sure if you knew of others)
15:47Callekthe target for our tier-1 is *before* 57 hits nightly, which is very very soon as you know ;-)
15:47jmaherok, I think we can skip/hack on the browser-chrome, otherwise we have a lot of jobs to BBB
15:47jmaheryes, a week sooner now
15:48jmaherCallek: so talos will be scheduled via taskcluster in the next 2 weeks?
15:48jmahererr, talos on windows
15:48Callekjmaher: yes
15:48jmaherand all of windows 8 will be even though we are moving to windows 10?
15:48Callekjmaher: thats the intent, catlee was working on the BBB testing patches
15:48jmaherok, great
15:51Callekjmaher: I'm not certain (offhand) if he thought about adding w8 testing, but yea the intent is that we do not lose any testing coverage and everything we need to keep in BB testing wise gets triggered via BBB
15:51Callekjmaher: the main reason we're targetting 56-in-nightly is to avoid *any* added risk to 57
15:52Callekwhich switching off buildbot for windows would qualify as
15:52Callek:-)
15:56jmaherfair enough- glad we are making the push now
15:59jmahercatlee: in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1379789 is there a builder diff list I can view?
15:59firebotBug 1379789 NEW, catlee@mozilla.com Enable Windows BB tests on date branch
16:08jmaherI could really use some help from someone who recently edited buildbot-configs- somehow we are running all of the win7/win10 tests in non-e10s mode as of this morning
16:08jmaherso our load is much higher on win7/win10
16:12wsmwkgps: thanks!
16:24Callekjmaher: this merged today: https://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/rev/d31a79a99656
16:24Callekjmaher: 2 days ago was https://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/rev/aae8a0a4a9a2
16:25jmaherCallek: yeah, I don't see builder differences for those two
16:26Callekjmaher: my use-case for figuring it out: https://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/graph
16:27jmaheris it safe to assume the tip is 'merge default to production' and the previous 'merge default to production' from 3 days ago is the window to look in
16:28Callekjmaher: anymerge default to production would have triggered a reconfig within the hour or two of it happening
16:28jmaherok
16:28jmaherCallek: what is Merging from default
16:29Callekjmaher: in the current view of https://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/graph all the green stuff is the main landing, the "Merge default to production" yellow circles are what you follow for what is "live"
16:30Callekjmaher: maybe use https://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-configs/pushloghtml as the real way to see `when` live, since the `graph` view only shows hg's representations of date (which can be months before its actually pushed)

19:45jmaherCallek: would you be ok picking up some buildbot-config reviews?
19:46jmaherI had asked :catlee, but I believe he might be out some/all of today
19:49akijmaher: what kind of buildbot-config reviews
19:51Callekjmaher: cat.lee is out for part of today, but I am nearing my EOD so best if you try and get it to a.ki or cat.lee tomorrow
19:52Callek(a.ki today)
19:52jmaheraki: disable webgl non-e10s on windows; disable non-e10s talos (it was accidentally enabled) as well as cleanup the config file
19:52akijmaher: i can give it a shot
19:52jmaheraki: if you have time I would appreciate it, otherwise I can wait and pester tomorrow am
19:53jmaheraki: great, let me change the reviews to you
19:54jmaheraki: I have two attachments on each bug; the config.py change; and then the list_builder_differences.sh output as differences.txt
20:00akiok, will take a look later today
20:45arrjlorenzo: papertrail seems to be kicking out a lot of errors about heroku-release-notifications app/worker.1
20:45arrlots of can't connect to host stuff
20:46jlorenzoarr: thanks for the heads up. I'll see what's happening
20:48nthomaswe seem to hit that every time we cancel a release
20:50jlorenzooh, could that be because there are too many tasks at once?
20:51jlorenzoI restated the dynos. It might not help with the connection issues

23:01* nthomas wonders if http://builddata.pub.build.mozilla.org/reports/allthethings/allthethings.20170713064501._854c67e09c3b_4e4744e608c6_b6926e8972f0.differences.txt is as jmaher|afk intended
23:02nthomasoh, the disables are on default only. Now Im really confused
23:06nthomasIm going to merge buildbot-configs
23:07nthomas avoid scheduling jobs we dont intend to run
23:08travis-cibuild-tools#1867 (master - ed28bb0 : ffxbld): The build passed. (https://travis-ci.org/mozilla/build-tools/builds/253417337)

23:26nthomasIm not sure if http://builddata.pub.build.mozilla.org/reports/allthethings/allthethings.20170713161501._8b4445eb311e_4e4744e608c6_cb7bbcb9afd4.differences.txt is what we intended either
23:26nthomasie the builders added
23:27nthomasoh well, it will make the pending backlog go away when the reconfig completes
