11:03RedthirstIs it possible to customize the address bar in current Nightly build?
11:14ciaranI'm trying to install noscript 5.1.2rc3 I'm running FF57.0b3 and I've enabled extensions.legacy.enabled. But it still states that it's incompatible contrary to what it states on https://noscript.net/getit
11:29pascalcciaran, are you using Firefox Beta or Firefox Dev Edition?
11:30pascalcit does install on Nightly
11:34ciaranpascalc: had this same discussion in #firefox
11:34ciaranI didn't compile with MOZ_ALLOW_LEGACY_EXTENSIONS=1
11:34ciaranwhich is a PITA becasue now I have to recompile everything
11:50RedthirstIs there a significant difference between current Beta build and current Nightly build?
11:51telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> just use uBlock Origin or uMatrix to block JS
12:10telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> even just opening Netflix's listings page and hovering over a title causes Windows to freeze completely :/
12:10telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> this doesn't happen in Chrome
12:10telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> and I had lag with Netflix's interface before but never a complete freeze until recently
13:30telegram_bot<arkagno> Have you restarted your browser? I've never had that issue with Nightly, but I know weird issues like that can be caused by not restarting after an update.
13:38Caspy7I did not see the original conversation, but Nightly uses the same update mechanism as Release and there should not be any issues caused by downloading an update
13:39telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> @arkagno, I've obviously restarted it since I had to hold down the power button to shut down my computer and then tried it multiple times later
13:41telegram_bot<arkagno> Caspy7 my nightly is from the AUR and it builds and installed automatically. So I don't need to restart(technically) for it to update. But this causes issues with the browser on occasion.
13:41telegram_bot<arkagno> @nyuszika7h, What OS?
13:42telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> Windows 10 Home x64 (Creators Update)
13:44Caspy7@arkagno: People using the official update mechanism on Nightly (which is most everyone) should have no issue with new updates
13:44telegram_bot<arkagno> @nyuszika7h, What add ons do you have installed?
13:44telegram_bot<arkagno> Caspy7 I'm aware, was just giving my anecdotal experience.
13:45telegram_bot<nyuszika7h> (Photo, 1242x666) https://bot.michaelkohler.info/gx0F1Gbi/file_303.jpg all WebExtensions, e10s also enabled of course
13:48Caspy7@nyuszika7h: I'm not sure if the logbot caught the full conversation. What's your issue?
13:49telegram_bot<arkagno> They've got issues with Netflix freezing.
13:49telegram_bot<arkagno> Fwd from nyuszika7h: even just opening Netflix's listings page and hovering over a title causes Windows to freeze completely :/
13:49telegram_bot<arkagno> Fwd from nyuszika7h: this doesn't happen in Chrome
13:49telegram_bot<arkagno> Fwd from nyuszika7h: and I had lag with Netflix's interface before but never a complete freeze until recently
13:50telegram_bot<arkagno> Caspy7 did you get my forwards?
13:52Caspy7yes
13:53telegram_bot<arkagno> @nyuszika7h, My guess would be xStyle and maybe tampermonkey
13:53telegram_bot<arkagno> Have you tried disabling?
13:53Caspy7@nyuszika7h: please test in safe mode: Help > Restart with addons disabled
20:48ShalokShalom_hi there
